This is what I am thirsty for this week. All of the things that I am excited to be doing, can’t stop thinking about/reading/hearing, and was delighted to discover.
The Body Book, By: Cameron Diaz
If you follow me on Instagram (@KatePSierra) you will have seen I am finally almost finished reading “The Body Book” and I really need to kick it in high gear because now I have to read a book for work! Aaahh, being a slow reader is terrible sometimes. Anyway, I highly recommend this book to EVERYBODY. Yes, it does have an entire chapter on lady parts, but that is just good knowledge for EVERYBODY!
It has some really creepy facts in it like a baby girl is born with all of the eggs she will ever have in her life. When I heard this I pictured this gag-inducing video I saw of how caviar is harvested. Gave me the heebie geebies.
The thing I love the most about The Body Book is how it has shown me how incredibly amazing my body is. You always hear how your body is your temple and you need to respect and take after your temple by exercising and eating healthy, but this really got down to the nitty gritty of the facts down to how your individual cells work. It is really miraculous!
My best synopsis though is, this book is all of the science you learned K-12, wrapped up in a neat package and explained in a way to better your life and incorporate into your life to better your health and happiness.

Live Happy Magazine
I discovered this magazine at Costco, and yes I say discovered as if no other person in the 21st century has ever heard of this and I found it while digging for dinosaur bones in my back yard. It’s a magazine that focuses on, you guessed it, happiness. Not a single time while reading this magazine (I read the April 2016 edition) did I think, I need to buy this beauty product or I need to look more like that model/actress/singer. It’s a good healthy read.
In honor of The International Day of Happiness on March 20th they introduced 33 ideas to live Happy. They range from watching He Named Me Malala to reading Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear to being a Big Brother or Big Sister. I’m definitely going to tackle this list the best I can.
An easy step I can definitely start ASAP is number 5, “Much like Katherine Hepburn, eat a little bit of very good chocolate every single day.” Oh yeah! I can definitely find a way to work that into my life.
They also have a schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. that tells you what to do every 30 minutes to have a happy day. If it were up to me though optimum happiness would end with going to bed a 9 p.m. Just ask my husband!

I recently started watching Marie Forleo’s videos in the last couple months and her video last week was an interview with Louie Schwartzberg. This interview opened me up to go to his web-site Gratitude Revealed. The web-site has 15 positive short videos that are sure to provoke thought, jerk some tears, and open your mind to see parts of the world a little more up close. Warning: May cause crying at your desk while trying to work.
Lush Golden Egg Bath Bomb
Now to be perfectly honest I haven’t used this product yet. But, I saw it on Instagram and had to have it. It’s absolutely beautiful for a bath bomb. I bought it on Sunday and have kept it in my bathroom waiting for the perfect time to use it and it makes my bathroom smell so great. I can’t wait to use it and am tempted to buy 6 more and make a beautiful golden display in the bathroom.
Buy it at your local Lush or here!
